OMG She’s back again.
I can’t tell you how many times I wanted to write over the last couple of years. Five years flies by faster than you think, and the universe has been nudging me to write, create, and actually share my stories… so I’m back.
Five years ago, in the middle of a pandemic, I got pregnant with my second child. Then somehow, my family and I decided to move, and I took over a local fitness studio I had been attending. Life got really full, really fast, and blogging and growing a health coaching business took a back seat.
The internet, and all the noise and controversy around the pandemic, honestly scared me off from sharing for a while. Instead of seeing health coaching clients, I found myself running a brick and mortar studio. It’s been such a blessing, but it’s also taken way more of my time and energy than I ever expected.
During that time, I also hit a new chapter personally. Perimenopause, gut issues, and a very real wake up call about how much stress, especially from relationships and family, can impact your health. It’s one thing to study this stuff, it’s another to live it.
But I’m always learning. Every single day. With the help of an incredible support system, and the guides and healers I lean on regularly.
And here’s something I’ve really come to terms with. It’s okay to put things down and pick them back up again. And sometimes, it’s okay to put things down and never look back.
Lately, I’ve been on a new path. Exploring what HRT can do for my body. Learning how to actually put my health and mental health first. Saying no more. Drinking less wine… no cute way to say that, it just is what it is.
Right now, I can only take on a very small number of clients between managing the studio, raising two very energetic boys, and trying to nurture my marriage. But I feel called to share again. To talk about what I’ve learned, what I’m still figuring out, and the real, unfiltered version of it all.
So here I am.
This is me coming back, and opening up a space for honest conversations around balanced nutrition, natural wellness, and staying grounded in a world that feels chaotic and full of misinformation.
Thanks for being here.
